If you are not sure which size you need, there is a good chance it is this one. A 45 foot dry van holds about 22 pallets at dock height, fits most commercial lots, and is the trailer we send out more than any other.
We call the 45 the workhorse because it is the size that solves the most problems without overshooting. It is big enough for a real warehouse overflow or a full restaurant remodel, and short enough that it still drops into lots where a 53 would leave the driver doing a ten point turn.
Same construction as every trailer we rent: a steel dry van with swing-out rear doors and a floor at dock height, inspected and swept before it leaves our West Chester yard. Nothing about it is specialized, which is exactly why it fits so many jobs.
| Length | 45 feet |
|---|---|

| Pallets | About 22 standard 48x40, single stacked |
| Floor height | 48 to 52 inches, level with a standard dock |
| Doors | Swing-out rear doors, full-width access, lockable |
| Build | Steel, inspected before delivery, dry interior, road ready |
| Rate | $75 per month, 3-month minimum, then month to month |
Interior figures vary a little by trailer make and year. If your load is tight to the inch, ask for the specs of the exact trailer we are sending.
Twenty-two pallet positions is the number most planners care about. That covers a season of overflow inventory for a mid-size distributor, a remodel's worth of fixtures and furniture for a restaurant or retail store, or the raw material a plant bought at a good price and has nowhere to put yet.
If your freight stacks, the 45 punches above its length. With room overhead in a standard dry van, two stable loads stacked on each position turns 22 into something close to 44. We walk through when stacking is safe, and when it is not, in our pallet math guide.
Seasonal stock, holiday inventory and store fixtures, parked behind the building and worked off a dock or a ramp.
Materials staging and secure tool storage for jobs that run months, not weeks, on sites with normal truck access.
Distributors and manufacturers absorbing a known peak, from fall inventory build to spring production ramps.
The 48 foot trailer adds about two pallet positions for $95 a month. It is worth the step when you are right at the edge of 22 and expect the load to grow. If you are comfortably under 22, the 45 is the better buy.
If your count is heading toward 26, skip the middle and look at the 53 foot trailer, which holds 26 straight and up to about 30 turned. And if you are under 14, a 28 foot trailer at $50 a month does the job. Our size guide lays out the whole decision.
Call by noon, Monday through Friday, and same day delivery is the standard anywhere inside our 100 mile radius of West Chester: southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana. Our own driver spots the trailer where you want it, at a dock door, in the yard or on a job site, and drops it level so it is ready to load. When you are done, we pick it up. The walkthrough is in how storage trailer delivery works.
Terms are the same for every size: a 3-month minimum, then month to month for as long as you keep it, with no long-term lease. We deliver to Cincinnati, Dayton, Florence and the rest of the Tri-State service area. And if what you really need is to move the freight rather than park it, that is same day local trucking, from a few pallets to a full truckload.
Call by noon for same-day delivery across the Cincinnati Tri-State. 3-month minimum, then month-to-month. No long-term contracts.
